Also in order to make garlic liked by teenagers in larger amount, “ME” uses sizzling to a crunchy gold that tastes sweeter like oven roasted version. @spectrumorganic spray oil & non stick ceramic pans are all I use. Once sizzled with some salt ; add one table spoon of the saffron “elixir” and cook through & to get golden and delicious. Garlic has many health benefits as a popular vegetable. Fresh garlic contains an amino acid, allicin, that when the clove is crushed or chopped, it becomes biologically available. Garlic health benefits are for heart and at times Allicin supplements in addition to usage of garlic in food may be needed to see the actual heart benefit in controlling cholesterol. One of my favorite benefits was from a study that showed helping with muscle soreness after exercise. The side effect is of GI nature including gas and diarrhea. I find home made garlic at home with less side effects since I peel- crush and cook right away.
